Lee and Sunshine Boulevard Intersection

In order to minimize excessive vehicle loading into an existing single turn lane, Lee County Department of Transportation asked our survey team to prepare an intersection design survey to help design dual left turning lanes onto Lee Boulevard from Sunshine Parkway.

Burnt Store Road Widening

Faced with a need to widen this designated hurricane evacuation route, Lee County Department of Transportation relied on the design-survey team of T.Y. Lin International and Johnson Engineering. Our transportation surveying team provided design survey, right of way mapping and specialized digital terrain and three dimensional structural modeling services for five weir and bridge sites as well as 4.1 miles of roadway.

Six Mile Cypress Parkway Widening

Providing aerial target support, control and topographic surveying services for Lee County Department of Transportation, the Transportation Survey team at Johnson Engineering helped to develop sound design information for the widening of this local road from Daniels Parkway to Colonial Boulevard.

Piper Road Extension

In finding ways to enhance commerce and efficient travel to the Charlotte County Airport and surrounding commercial businesses, Charlotte County Public Works utilized the skills and experience of our transportation surveyors to provide design support, right of way mapping for the extension of Piper Road from North Jones Loop Road to U.S. 17. Several right of way acquisitions were planned along the 3.5 miles of new roadway and our team assisted the Real Estate Division of the County by preparing real property descriptions and sketches for the conveyance of property.

Del Prado Widening

The City of Cape Coral?s plan to widen Del Prado Boulevard from State Road 78 north to Kismet Parkway required numerous right of way acquisitions. Our transportation surveyors and right of way specialists assisted the real estate division of the city in preparing sketches and descriptions, as well as specific purpose surveys to make the acquisition process seamless and efficient. Working closely with the City?s Acquisition Agents, Johnson Engineering procured a close and effective relationship to help make the process accurate and cost effective.

Aqui Esta Drive

Our transportation surveying team helped the Public Works Department of Charlotte County by performing a design survey and preparing right of way maps for 2.0 miles of busy Aqui Esta Drive. This two lane, two way corridor needed widening and improvement in it?s consideration as a hurricane evacuation route for the adjacent, densely populated communities as well as improve conditions that regularly left this road under water in many locations during the rainy season.

College Parkway and Kenwood Lane Intersection

Lee County Department of Transportation called on the transportation surveying services to perform topographical surveying for the improvement of College Parkway and Kenwood Lane intersection. For safety purposes, the County modified the existing median to prevent dangerous left turns onto busy College Parkway.
